FAQ
Orders & Shipping
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free on every order, with no minimum. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
How long will my order take?
Orders are processed in 1–2 business days, and delivery takes 7–11 business days after shipping — roughly 8–13 business days from order to doorstep, or about 12 to 18 calendar days. That is the arrival window shown on every product page.
How do I track my order?
As soon as your order ships, we email you a tracking link. Allow up to 72 hours after shipping for the first scan to appear — that is normal, and it does not mean anything is wrong. If the link has not arrived, check your spam folder, then write to us.
Where do you ship?
Anywhere in the United States.
Can I change my address after ordering?
If your order has not shipped yet, yes. Email us within 24 hours with your order number and the correct address. Once it has shipped, the address is fixed.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes — within 12 hours of purchase, as long as it has not shipped. Email us with your order number and we will refund you in full.
Will I have to pay customs or import fees?
No. Our watches are imported, and all duties are covered by us. You will never be asked to pay extra on delivery.
What comes in the box?
The watch and a Vanetto travel pouch, included with every order at no extra cost.
What is Shipping Protection?
An optional add-on in the cart, $5.99 per order. Every order is already covered without it: a parcel lost in transit is replaced or refunded after 20 business days, and a watch that arrives damaged is refunded or replaced at no cost to you.
What the add-on changes: there is no 20-business-day waiting period — we act as soon as tracking stops moving — and a parcel marked delivered but reported missing is replaced or refunded, rather than only investigated with the carrier. Full terms are in our Shipping Policy.
The Watches
What movement do Vanetto watches use?
Most of our watches use quartz movements: accurate to within seconds a month, no winding, almost no maintenance.
A few pieces are automatic — wound by the motion of your wrist, with no battery at all. Every automatic is identified as one in the specifications on its product page.
If the movement matters to you, check the specifications before you order. If it is not listed on the piece you are looking at, write to us and we will confirm it before you buy.
Where are Vanetto watches made?
Our watches are imported. Vanetto is Italian-inspired in design, drawing on the golden age of Italian style — but we do not manufacture in Italy, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Can I wear my watch in the water?
Our watches are water-resistant, not waterproof. They handle rain, splashes and handwashing without issue.
They are not designed for swimming, showering or diving, unless the product page states otherwise. Each piece lists its own water resistance rating — check the one you are considering.
What size are the watches?
Most of our pieces sit between 38mm and 42mm, the classic range for a dress watch. A few run larger — the Milano is 44mm, the Positano 45mm.
The case size is in the specifications on the product page. If it is not listed for the piece you are looking at, write to us and we will send the measurement before you order.
Can I change the strap?
Yes. Most of our straps use standard spring bars and can be swapped for any strap of the same lug width, which is listed on each product page. Watches with an integrated bracelet — where the bracelet is built into the case — are the exception.
How do I care for my watch?
- Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth
- Keep leather straps away from prolonged water and direct heat
- Avoid contact with perfumes, solvents and lotions
- Store it somewhere dry, ideally in its box
How long does the battery last?
On our quartz watches, typically 2 to 3 years with normal wear. Any watchmaker or jeweler can replace it inexpensively.
Our automatic watches have no battery. They run on the motion of your wrist, and stop when left unworn for a day or two — wind the crown or wear it, and it starts again.
Returns & Problems
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Yes. You have 30 days from the day it arrives to ask for a full refund. There does not need to be anything wrong with the watch — not liking it is reason enough.
Email us with your order number, a line about why it is not right for you, and clear photos plus a short video of the watch. That is how we confirm the item, since there is nothing to ship back.
We review within 7 business days. If approved, you get a full refund — and you keep the watch. There is nothing to return and nothing for you to pay.
The full terms are in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
My watch arrived damaged or faulty. What now?
Email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the problem.
We review it within 7 business days. If approved, you choose: a full refund or a replacement. Shipping is on us — you will not pay anything to resolve a defect.
My order has not arrived. What should I do?
Check your tracking link first. If it has been more than 20 business days since shipping, contact us — we will investigate with the carrier and either send a replacement or refund you in full.
Tracking says delivered, but I do not have it.
Check with neighbors and around your property, and confirm the address on your order. If it still has not turned up after 24 hours, contact us and we will sort it out with you.
Payment & Security
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover — plus Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Shop Pay.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Every page of our site uses SSL encryption, and payments are handled by PCI-DSS compliant processors. We never see or store your full card number.
Why does “VANETTO” appear on my statement?
That is us. Vanetto is operated by Martoni Business LLC.
About Vanetto
Who is behind Vanetto?
Vanetto is a watch brand operated by Martoni Business LLC, a limited liability company registered in St. Petersburg, Florida.
We design for men who believe elegance does not need to announce itself — and that a well-made watch should be within reach of the man who appreciates one, not only the man who inherited one.
Do you have a physical store?
Not yet. Vanetto is online only, which is part of how we keep our pieces at the price they are.
