Payment Policy

Payment Policy

Last updated: 28/08/2026

This policy explains how payment works at Vanetto — which methods we accept, when your card is charged, and what happens if something goes wrong. Everything listed here matches exactly what you will see at checkout.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

These are the methods available at checkout. There are no others, and nothing is hidden until the final step.

Credit and debit cards

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • Diners Club
  • JCB
  • Elo

Digital wallets and express checkout

  • PayPal
  • Shop Pay
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

The methods shown to you may vary slightly depending on your device and browser — Apple Pay appears on Apple devices, Google Pay on Android and Chrome. Every method listed above is available to customers in the United States.

2. Currency

All prices on this site are listed and charged in U.S. dollars (USD). If your card is issued in another currency, your bank performs the conversion and may apply its own exchange rate or foreign transaction fee. That fee comes from your bank, not from us.

3. Fees

We do not charge any payment processing fee, surcharge, or handling fee — on any method. The price you see at checkout is the total you pay. Shipping is free on every order, and import duties are covered by us.

4. When You Are Charged

Your payment is authorized and captured when you place the order. You will receive an order confirmation by email immediately afterwards.

An order confirmation is not an acceptance of your order — our acceptance occurs when the order ships, as set out in our Terms of Service. If we cancel an order after payment, you receive a full refund to the original payment method.

5. Payment Security

Payments are processed by secure, PCI-DSS compliant third-party providers over an encrypted connection. Our site uses SSL encryption on every page, through to the final confirmation screen.

Vanetto never sees or stores your full card number. Your card details go directly to the payment processor.

6. If a Payment Is Declined

A declined payment usually comes from the issuing bank, not from us. The most common reasons are an incorrect billing address, an expired card, insufficient funds, or a fraud check triggered by an international merchant.

If a payment fails, no order is created and no money leaves your account. A pending authorization may appear briefly on your statement and is released by your bank, usually within a few business days.

If you have tried more than once and it still fails, email us and we will help.

7. Fraud Screening

Orders are screened for fraud to protect both you and us. We may decline or cancel an order that appears fraudulent, or where the billing and shipping details cannot be reconciled. If we cancel your order for this reason, you receive a full refund and an email explaining what happened.

8. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Depending on your bank, it may take one additional billing cycle to appear on your statement. We do not issue store credit in place of a refund unless you ask for it.

The full conditions are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

9. Questions About a Charge

If you see a charge you do not recognize, or something on your statement does not match your order, email us with your order number before contacting your bank. We can usually resolve it the same day, and a chargeback takes considerably longer for everyone involved.
