The Livorno
An instrument-style dial, finished with a strap you would wear to dinner.
The Livorno builds a dense, technical face — two recessed sub-dials stacked on the vertical axis, a date window at three, twin pushers framing a fluted crown — and then wraps the wrist in leather cut with contrast stitching. It is a 42mm case doing two jobs at once, and the tension between them is the whole idea.

Technical Face, Civilian Strap
Turn the Livorno under a light and the two sub-dials drop away from the surface, holding shadow while the dial around them stays flat and clean. The indices are applied in the same finish as the case, so nothing on the face fights for attention: a printed minute track on the outer edge, polished markers, and the date sitting square at three.
The strap answers with the opposite texture. It runs 22mm at the lug, in leather with a heavy contrast stitch traced along both edges — the detail that keeps the Livorno from reading as a piece of equipment. Soft where the case is hard, warm where the metal is cool.
How to Wear It
Four combinations, four different arguments. Rose gold over black leather is the evening version. Rose gold with the ivory dial and brown leather is the one that holds up in daylight, next to tan and olive. Silver over deep blue reads business-casual without effort. Silver over black is the one you stop thinking about, because it already matches everything in the closet.
At 42mm across and 13mm deep, the Livorno has presence without asking for a wider cuff, and at 10 ATM (100m) it is rated well past rain and a rinsed hand. It is for the man who wants a watch worth a second look, and no explanation.
