The Lunario
Most watches tell you the hour. This one also tells you where the moon is.
A 40mm polished steel case carries a dial with three sub-registers and an engraved tachymeter track around the rim. In the right-hand register, a small aperture shows a painted moon crossing a night sky — the one part of the dial with nothing to do with efficiency. The woven nylon strap keeps the whole watch at 83 grams: light enough to forget on the wrist, sturdy enough to leave on all weekend.

The Oldest Clock There Is
Before there were hours, there was the moon. Sailors timed crossings by it and farmers planted by it, and for centuries a moon phase display was how a watchmaker showed his hand. It is the rare complication that measures something nobody needs to know on a Tuesday.
Which is the point. The Lunario spends most of its dial on legibility — bold Arabic numerals, a date window, sub-registers you can read at a glance — and then gives one small opening over to something worth looking at instead.
How to Wear It
The nylon strap sets the register: this is a weekend watch first. Green with olive and raw denim, blue with grey and white, black with whatever is already in the closet. Under a jacket sleeve it reads as restrained. Over a rolled shirt cuff it reads as deliberate.
For the man who wants a dial with something to say, and prefers it said quietly.

The Design

A 40mm polished steel case carries three sub-registers and an engraved tachymeter track around the rim, and in the right-hand register a small aperture shows a painted moon crossing a night sky — the one part of this dial with nothing to do with efficiency.

On the Wrist
Eight millimetres of case and 83 grams all in. The woven nylon strap carries most of that lightness: enough structure to hold the watch flat, enough give that you stop noticing it by mid-morning. Under a jacket sleeve it reads as restrained. Over a rolled shirt cuff it reads as deliberate.

The Detail
Look at the right-hand register. Before there were hours there was the moon — sailors timed crossings by it, farmers planted by it — and a moon phase display is how a watchmaker traditionally showed his hand. It is the rare complication that measures something nobody needs to know on a Tuesday. That is precisely why it earns the space.

Made to Last
Sapphire over the dial, which is the crystal that stays clear through years of cuffs and doorframes instead of collecting a haze of fine scratches. The woven strap takes sweat and rain without stiffening, and 5ATM covers a downpour and a rinsed hand without you having to think about it.

The Movement
Japanese quartz, running the sub-registers, the date and the moon phase together. No winding, no drift, nothing to reset after a fortnight in a drawer. The moon advances on its own and asks for your attention roughly twice a year — about as much ceremony as a watch should ever require.

The Finish
The tachymeter is engraved into the bezel rather than printed on top of it, so it wears with the steel instead of thinning off it. The strap carries contrast stitching down both edges and the buckle is engraved. Small things, and all of them on the parts you actually touch.

The Philosophy
True elegance doesn't shout — it whispers.
The Lunario spends most of its dial on legibility: bold numerals, a date, sub-registers you read at a glance. Then it gives one small opening over to something worth looking at instead.
For the man who wants a dial with something to say, and prefers it said quietly.
